Greatest Life Scam: ADULTHOOD!!!

When I hear parents say "don't worry my girl, when you grow up" I just laugh so much because am like baby you don't know what you are getting into.

Let's go down memory lane (childhood is just sweet) from when I can remember sha I will always pick my childhood over adulthood (some people have different opinion) so I should share what life was growing up

Who doesn't miss days when your mama wakes you up in the morning (my mother still does, I don't know why and she comes to my room in the mid night to check if I am well covered or not) to prepare for school (my mother carries me sef)? I wasn't a spoilt child (omo butter) but once in a while I had opportunity to choose whatever I wanted for breakfast, lunch but never try it for dinner (dad would slap you) it's not advisable. I wasn't born with a silver spoon but life was sweet.. I didn't take cereal for breakfast (my papa no dey gree buy all those things put for house) and I liked the rice life cause I could stay in school without eating at break time (I no save the money sha.. no think am oo). I enjoyed using my money to buy goddy goddy, Ika gowon, condese, baba dudu, zobo, sisi pelebe, colour colour (I no go posh primary school ehn...). At a point, I started selling one kobo water inside nylon (business girl, nah still ijekuje I go use the money buy laslas)

Slaying started from way back oo, my mum was always very conscious of what we wear (my siblings and I), our hair, our uniforms, school bags, school shoes etc.. Life was sweet when school is about resuming new term and my parents call us to know what we need in school. Dad goes to the bookshop and I remember I always had every textbook even when one subject has 12 textbooks written on the list of book. Mum goes to the market to get school bags, shoes etc and the ginger to rock those things ehn would make u wish resumption was the next day. But now, who really cares about your? you are on your own.. The moment u say finally, I bagged BSc Mass Communication get ready to bag BSc adulthood. If not all, 50% of your benefits as a young ends there but this is relative sha.. like they say nah different strokes for different folks.

I miss the good old days that all I have to do is sleep, eat, go to school, do home lesson, eat again and sleep. Dad got your bills covered, no man to break your heart. I miss my childhood sha.

We had sweet rhymes abi.. I still remember them
Sanda lily, sanda lily (5ce) sanda precious.
I'm a doctor in my country, everybody knows me well, if you look at me up an down u will know that is true

Jangilova, epo moto (loool)

whereever u go (ogo go n go)
where ever you be (sisi eko)
Do not say yes when you need to say no (baba Ibadan)

etc..

My childhood memories remain fresh in my mind... If only we can return to the good old days.
